2012 Fashion Tips
It might be changing as the days go by, but 2012’s current and upcoming fashion trends have already been established by industry professionals and Alexander McQueen will most definitely be tipped as one to watch. We don’t know how it’s done, or what variables cause it to be this way, but it’s best that you know what the high street will soon look like, before it happens. We all go through a few weeks of not going to town, returning and suddenly nothing you used to want is being sold anymore. Below are a few pointers on what will be ‘in’ for the coming months and what we’re likely to see much more of. (Girls, this is more for you).Colours – It’s a big year for the deep blues and reds this time. While you might not have noticed it vanishing in the past couple of seasons past, it’s maroon shades, vibrant purples and the ranges which occupy that region which are buzzing for 2012. Greens and yellows aren’t really getting a look in this year, as the more stand-out ends of the spectrum have being tearing up catwalks across the globe. Of course, you shouldn’t be questioning their judgment for 2012 either, as a quick snapshot of the high-street will show you that it’s already infiltrating the UK.
1960s Stylings – As much as people began to see ‘70s fashion take a massive resurgence, the decade which triggered it is making a welcomed return to ours shores this year. Once people began digging into era, it was only a matter of time before they went a step further and everyone began delving into all the wonders of the 1960s and all that came of the period. To get a gist of the times, the following break down what the times were especially known for.
- Blocks of bright colours.
- Graphic prints.
- Flat shoes, with an edge of masculinity.
- Long, swing coats.
- An abundance of geometric shapes.
